| college is finally here |

Weirdest feeling ever. But an awesome feeling nonetheless. :D I officially feel grown-up, which also kinda scares me haha.
Orientation was pretty cool.. for like the first hour. >:( Then followed 3 more painful hours of listening to random speakers talk about random safety measures and other random things related to college. Blah, I was worn out just sitting there trying to soak all of that in. The best part of today was definitely getting to explore the main building and all of the amazing computer labs (which reminds me how excited I am about classes this Monday, whoo!).
Internet wasn't working earlier, and as soon as I was about to call the main office, it starts working again... kinda random but hey, I'm not complaining! x)
Also, my roommate turned out to be a very sweet girl. :) And we ended up having a LOT more in common than I thought we would, which makes me happy.
The family (dad, mom, lil brother/sister) are staying at a hotel here in Atlanta until Sunday to go sight-seeing (and make sure I'm all settled, which I pretty much am lol). But just thinking about saying goodbye to them gets me all emotional... I love my family sooo much and I'm gonna miss them all like CRAZY. <3 We're tighter than skinny jeans on a walrus... or something like that lol oh you get the picture.

| Back from the dead/SCAD Atlanta |
[May. 17th, 2009|10:02 pm] |
Wow. It feels super weird being on here. x) Well, once I'm away at college I'm gonna try to update LJ with photos/drawings and whatnot. It's easier to post pics on here though- PLUS I have my first real digital camera to mess around with while I'm down there in Georgia, which reminds brings me to this: I transfered over to SCAD Atlanta! Sure, it isn't nearly as gorgeous as Savannah, but a preacher (who came to visit our church about a week ago) lives kinda close to Atlanta, and he told me that the Church of Christ congregation down there by SCAD Atlanta is a very good one. When he told me that, it was all I needed to hear to make the changes.
Yep, my Christianity is a very important part of my life. If there's one thing I'll always need in my life (especially being so far away from home) it's God. Can't live without Him.
So anyway, I'm so taking a butt-load of pictures during college.. like not even joking.
And, my mom thinks it's too early to be thinking about what kinda job I want after I graduate, but... I really really REALLYY wanna work for Disney! I think I would be such a cool job, and I've always loved Disney World/movies/characters. <3
Okay enough about me- what kind of plans do you guys have, as far as college goes?

| NAVY PIER JOY |
[Oct. 26th, 2007|11:12 pm] |
My first post on here... I almost forgot I made an account. xD
Anyways, my family and I journeyed to Chicago (not really much of a journey considering we live about 20 minutes away) and we visited the spectacular Navy Pier! The main reason we went was to go to the IMAX to see this Haunted Castle movie, but you can never go there for just ONE thing... So we ended up looking through shops and such.

ME NO GET HAIR WET SO ME WEAR BABUSHKA SCARF LOL
Awww... my mom and dad. With a lovely Chicago in the background. <3
In line for the IMAX movie, my mom and I. Hopefully you can tell who I am, lol. (everyone says we look almost identical, and I says... at least I have a pretty mom xD)
Well, uhh... here you can see how much fun my sister Alivia and I are having... uhhh... in the ginormous IMAX theater. We have our hip 3-D glasses on for the 3-D movie effects, which were so awesome by the way. And I quote myself, "Alivia... you're ghetto-fablulous."
Yes, my little brother Jake being almost as hip as us... almost. He cracks me up, though.
...brother "It"? I really don't know...

I almost said no when my mom asked me to take this picture. It was one of those moments when I realized how... special my family really is. Oh mom...

POPCORN TEEFS! My mom was laughing at her for a while. Poor Livs... xD |
